MARIE RIVIER ASSOCIATION

During the past few years, numerous groups of lay people have become associated to religious Congregations with whom they have a spiritual affinity.  As regards the Presentation of Mary, lay Associates have multiplied since the beatification of Marie Rivier, On May 23, 1982.  Groups emerged spontaneously after this event, bringing to light the vitality of the gift made to the Church through the Foundress of the Congregation.

The aim of the Association is well defined:

Lay people want to share our spirituality
to better live their vocation to holiness
and their mission of evangelization
in the state of life which is their own.

At present, groups of Associates to Presentation of Mary exist in thirteen countries.

The Association offers its members:

formation to prayer, to reading the Word of God;
support in the life of faith and apostolic mission;
privileged times of gathering for prayer, sharing the Word, mutual listening and mutual help;
deepening of their interior life in union with Mary and according to the spirituality of Marie Rivier;

prayerful support of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.
